CatFish Scan respects your privacy. This document explains how data is handled when
you use the App.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

❌ We do not store uploaded photos
❌ We do not collect biometric identifiers
❌ We do not create face recognition databases
❌ We do not sell user data — ever

2. Information We May Collect

To operate the app, we may collect:

• Device data (model, OS version, crash logs)
• Anonymous scan count usage statistics
• Email only if a user creates an account (optional)

No image content is stored or retained post-scan.

3. How Images Are Handled

• Images are processed temporarily in real-time
• Deleted automatically after analysis is complete
• No copies retained on servers

4. AI Scan Features

Our system may analyze:

• Pixel structure for manipulation artifacts
• Lighting/shadow inconsistencies
• Compression patterns
• AI-generation fingerprints
• Metadata (if available)

This data is processed instantly and discarded.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share data with advertisers or third parties except:

• Infrastructure/cloud providers for real-time processing
• Law enforcement only if legally compelled

6. User Rights

You may at any time:

• Request account deletion
  Use the app anonymously (no login required)
• Withdraw consent by discontinuing use

7. Age Restriction

• CatFish Scan is for 18+ users only.
• Images of minors are prohibited and must be reported immediately.

8. Security

• Encrypted transmission during scan
• Auto-deletion ensures no persistent storage
• No biometric databases created

9. Updates

This Policy may be revised over time. Continued use means agreement.
